JoJo’s Seasoning was created with the belief that great flavor can also create meaningful impact. Rooted in resilience, legacy, and community, the brand exists to serve beyond the kitchen.
As part of this commitment, 10 percent of all JoJo’s Seasoning sales are dedicated to breast cancer awareness, supporting education, advocacy, and resources for individuals and families affected by the disease. This mission is deeply inspired by the founder’s mother’s journey through cancer and her strength in overcoming it. That experience shaped JoJo’s Seasoning’s commitment to giving back and honoring life, faith, and perseverance.
This purpose extends through the ÉLEVÉ FOUNDATION, founded by Chef JoJo Brown Davis. ÉLEVÉ stands for Empowerment, Love, Education, Value, and Elevation. The foundation is dedicated to uplifting families through mentorship, education, and holistic support, grounded in lived experience and generational legacy.
The ÉLEVÉ FOUNDATION has adopted all 380 girls at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, committing to provide academic, financial, emotional, and spiritual support. The foundation also extends resources to families, reinforcing long-term stability and success. Early initiatives include providing Christmas meals and essential support to more than 400 girls and their families, with encouragement from Bernice King, highlighting the program’s impact.
Together, JoJo’s Seasoning and the ÉLEVÉ FOUNDATION reflect a shared belief that business can be a force for good. Every purchase supports awareness, every initiative elevates community, and every effort honors the power of purpose-driven impact.
